Water Loss
This is the difference between:
- The total water supplied the distribution system, and
- The total authorized consumption.
Water loss includes:
- Apparent Losses - Paper losses from inaccurate measurement or recording of water deliveries.
- Real Losses - Physical losses occurring from the time water is pressurized until it reaches the customer meter or service connection.
